That's The Way It Is was first released by Follow That Dream as a 7 inch classic album in April 2008 (see here), and this vinyl edition is a compilation of tracks taken from that original release, along with tracks from other FTD releases.

The rehearsals of 'I Just Can't Help Believin'' (side 1, track 1) and 'You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'' (side 2, track 1), along with 'Sweet Caroline' (side 3, track 4) are all taken from the FTD release The Way It Was (see here and here).

The live versions of 'Patch It Up' (side 1, track 3), 'I've lost You' (side 2, track 2) and 'The Next Step Is Love' (side 2, track 4) are all taken from the FTD release One Night In Vegas (see here).

The live versions of 'Make The World Go Away' (side 3, track 5)and 'The Wonder Of You' (side 3, track 6) are taken from the FTD release The Wonder Of You (see here).

The original number for this vinyl edition was FTD-70-33, but this was changed to FTD-300 in their numbering system.
