The book contains two hundred and fifty newly discovered images including wardrobe stills, memos, contracts and pages from movie director George Sidney's personal script, soundtrack recording session documents, memories from the cast and crew, the shooting schedule, filming dates and locations revealed for the first time . It also contains an exclusive Warner Bros interview on the film restoration of Viva Las Vegas.

The CDs contained with the book include the first official release of the original soundtrack in mono, the original conceived 1963 studio album, bonus songs from the soundtrack and newly discovered songwriters' demos.

Due to a mastering error on CD1, 'I Need Somebody To Lean On' starts at the end of track 3 and continues through track 4. This is not a problem when listening to the full CD, as it is not noticeable, but if you play track 4 on its own the first fifteen seconds of the song is missing!

Although 'Night Life' (CD3, track 2) is listed as being the "Full Version, Long Fade" it is still faded at the end!
