The definitive release of these sessions can be found on Follow That Dream's limited edition Devil In Disguise - The 'Lost Album' Sessions 3xCD set, where everything has been compiled and remastered from scratch, and all masters and outtakes are presented in the best possible sound.
Most of this session is available on the Cool
Romeo Unsurpassed Masters Box 3 bootleg
box-set, in decent sound although noise reduced,
thought to be derived from 3-Track tape.
Take 8 of 'Echoes Of Love' probably never
made it to 2-Track tape (or was cut from tape
as it was considered for alternate master).
The 60s Box version version of '(You're
The) Devil In Disguise' was derived from the For The Asking / The Lost Album master, including
the noise reduction.
Different remixed versions of '(You're The) Devil In
Disguise' can be found on Elvis 30 #1 Hits
(E1) and Top Ten Hits.
A remixed version of 'Witchcraft' can be
found on Return Of The Rocker.
On FTD's Elvis Sings Memphis Tennessee takes
5 and 6 of 'Love Me Tonight' have been edited
together. There are a few seconds and the false
start from Take 6, then the complete Take 5 but
missing the false start, then a few seconds of
talking from after Take 6.
Many of Bill Porter's live stereo mix masters
from this session were used for the first
time on FTD's Elvis Sings Memphis Tennessee.
In March of 2007, Sony decided to go through all of Elvis' masters. They retransferred everything and remastered all tracks including repairing as many clicks, pops, bad edits and dropouts as they could. They have used these newly mastered recordings on their new releases since 2007 including budget soundtracks,
Legacy releases, the 30 disc
Complete Elvis Presley Masters collection and the
Franklin Mint package.
