The definitive release of these sessions, can be found on Follow That Dream's limited edition The Frankie And Johnny Sessions 3xCD set, where everything has been mixed and remastered from scratch, and all masters and outtakes are presented in the best possible sound.

On the Complete Frankie And Johnny Sessions bootleg the master takes used are from a different source to the outtakes, as the channels are reversed.

On Follow That Dream's The Frankie And Johnny Sessions set, Neal Matthews can be heard prominently singing the guide vocals on the 'Hard Luck' rhythm track and the insert ending track for 'Hard Luck', and his guide vocals can be heard bleeding through other channels on the other rhythm tracks used on the set.

In March of 2007, Sony decided to go through all of Elvis' masters. They retransferred everything and remastered all tracks including repairing as many clicks, pops, bad edits and dropouts as they could. They have used these newly mastered recordings on their new releases since 2007 including budget soundtracks, Legacy releases, the 30 disc Complete Elvis Presley Masters collection and the Franklin Mint package.
