Produced and Art Directed by Roger Semon / Vinyl Mastering by Abbey Road Studios, London.
Too Much Monkey Business was first released by Follow That Dream as a 5 inch digipack CD in December 2000 (see here), and this vinyl edition uses all tracks from that CD, along with additional tracks from The Elvis Medley (1982) and I Was The One (1983) albums.
There is a typing error in the track listing shown on the back cover, inner sleeve and disc label. On side 2 it should read "06) In The Ghetto" but it reads "08) In The Ghetto", and this mistake is repeated on the back cover and inner sleeve!
A session data sheet is included with this album, explaining all of the re-recordings and overdubs which were done in 1980, but the sheet contains some errors:
It indicates that 'Hey Jude' (January 28 1980) is still unreleased, even though it is included on this album, and was included on the original digipack in 2000!
The sheet also incorrectly indicates that 'I'll Hold You In My Heart (Till I Can Hold You In My Arms)' (October 14 1980) is unreleased from this date, but the version with backing vocals overdubbed (November 11 1980) is included on here, even though the track on here doesn't contain any backing vocals!
The same applies to 'Long Black Limousine' (October 17 1980) too, where the data sheet incorrectly indicates that it is unreleased from this date, but the version with backing vocals overdubbed (November 10 1980) is included on here, even though the track on here doesn't contain any backing vocals!
The same also applies to 'I'll Be There' (October 20 1980) where the sheet incorrectly indicates that it is unreleased from this date, but the version with backing vocals overdubbed (November 11 1980) is included on here, even though the track on here doesn't contain any backing vocals!
